From the vision of developing a cost-effective burglary protection system for the home – without having to deal with inconvenient conversion measures or cabling – arose in 2010 our idea of a window and door handle with alarm. SODA GmbH was founded and after two years of development we successfully launched the “Standalone Alarm Handle”. It reports burglary attempts in accordance with the VdS guidelines and breakage of glass with a 115 dB(A) loud alarm tone. This function is always active – independent of any further configuration.
For us it was the prime goal to quickly enter the rapidly growing market of home automation by incorporating multiple further sensors into the handle and continuing the development into a smart, wireless handle with alarm. This smart and patented technology transmits information about the handle and window position, temperature, humidity and burglary attempts via wireless networks. In this way it offers extensive data material for smart home automation. All this at the most important interfaces of your home: Your windows!
With our alarm handle we offer multi-sensor technology for your safety, your comfort, for ecology and economy – without imposing behavioral changes on you or changing the appearance of a room. For the connection between the handle and electrical devices we also developed a smart plug, which offers a closed smart home system for the user. Data is transferred via wireless networks to the smart plug. It then processes the given information and acts according to “if-then” conditions that have been defined by the user. All data can be saved if desired. The handle as transmitter, the plug as recipient and actor, the smartphone for easy control – an absolute innovation in the field of smart home. With our technology we offer home automation for everybody.

Maps, transport planning, routing – it takes a specialist to perform well in this seg-ment. As a B2B provider of professional navigation, we know what we are talking about. infoware has been involved in geocoding and the flexible use of geodata since 1996. The result: Sophisticated software modules from map materials to navi-gation – from the back end to mobile apps.

The world is networked. Markets are complex, and the flow of goods and information never ceases.
Business transactions and processes are subjected to tremendous time and cost pressures, and it is only when market participants are able to coordinate their activi-ties with one another, pool their resources and interlink their processes that they can achieve lasting success.
In order to do these things, companies must be able to speak the same language: the language of uniform standards. Common standards for the identification of mechanise or for communications throughout the value chain are a key foundation for any successful business relationship.
GS1 Germany oversees the development and implementation of open, multi-sector standards that are valid worldwide. We also use these standards as the basis for our process and application recommendations. We support companies in a variety of sectors in their efforts to implement these standards while also identifying solutions for increased value creation.
Thanks to our practical courses of training and specialist events, GS1 Germany is able to secure the transfer of expertise between all market participants. Consultation and services that are geared to our customers’ requirements go hand in hand with the successful implementation of efficient processes within their companies.
